UGH! I thought I was going to be able to sidestep the side effects of this shingles vaccine. I felt totally fine for about 10 hours and then WHAMMO! Fevers, drenching sweats, chills, joint pain, nausea and vomiting. I knew that there was a “possibility” of not feeling well….but I had no idea it would almost invite the dragon back. NOT FUN! AndI still have to go through the 2nd booster shot in a few months. OMG i cant even imagine……

My arm is still puffed out and red and painful. I remember it when i try and roll over in bed to sleep on my side. But now 3 days later, no dragon next to me, no dragon has me in his grips. Thank heavens!!!!!! I could not go through another (3rd) flare in 18 months.

I walk gently and say a prayer each morning for good health to stay with me. It is a mind game that has me in a player position I never wanted to participate in. I am a pawn in the dragon’s sick game of cat and innocent mouse. But this mouse has a stun gun. And you just try and get me, I will fight with good thoughts, prayers and positive lifestyle to beat this game. I will win. I will stay healthy forever.
