The first time, 2 years ago, when I initially started on medrol, it took a long time before the effects took effect. Kind of like a marshmallow being thrown at an elephant, I didn’t even feel the medication for a long time. It took several months before, my body was overcoming the negative symptoms of my disease. My poor immune system kept me indoors a long time, my fatigue level was tremendously low even though I was on 5 pills in the am and 5 in the pm.

The second round, it took about a month before the symptoms were under control, so that meant the extremely painful joints, fevers, shakes and chills, swollen lymph nodes, etc. hung around for still quite a while before I felt well enough to get back to life.

Round 3, took the medrol about 2 weeks to become effective to resolve the symptoms.

But this time, round 4, the effects were almost immediate!!!!! YAY!!!!! within 2 days, I feel awesome!!!! I don’t sleep, but who needs sleep when you can stay up all night creating, painting, drawing, sketching, sewing, reading, cooking, surfing the web!!!! I do sleep about 3 hours a day sometimes 4 hours. But, I have done so much creatively in the past couple days then I have weeks or months. I’m creating an Etsy site to sell the items I make! Ha HA! Always thinking! Manic? My husband thinks so. I say let’s get the party started!
